MONDAYS

Bakers & Makers (K-5th)

Bakers and Makers is a class for those that like to create! The sessions will teach your children the basics in sewing, baking, and creating home crafts, and students will be able to taste or take home their own creations. They will build or bake, draw or make and let their imagination soar in these hour-long sessions.

 

Floor Hockey (K-5th)

Floor hockey is an action packed game where boys and girls move constantly. Kids will learn the basics of hockey in a safe, age appropriate environment and will learn to compete as a team with high effort and sportsmanship in each session. Each day will end with full games, but will begin with lead-up games and skill building to help them hone skills that translate across all sports.

 

Spy Science: Crime Scene Investigators (K-5th)

How do detectives and investigators use science to solve a mystery? We will spend this program understanding forensic science and learning the tricks of the spy trade. We'll investigate fingerprints, spying techniques (surveillance), secret codes, invisible ink, and other sneaky science!

TUESDAYS

Group Guitar (K-5th)

Students will participate in an ensemble music group.  Students will learn about the instruments as well as how to play in a music group.   

 

***FREE Rental instrument and curriculum included!  Instruments and music are intended for in class AND at home practice.  Rental Instrument must be returned at the last class.

 

TGA Afterschool Tennis (K-5th)

GET READY TO SERVE, VOLLEY, AND RALLY WHILE HAVING FUN WITH TGA!

 

Our trained and verified coaches combine athletics, academics, and life lessons to create fun and engaging tennis programs.


We include sport skill development, rules & etiquette lessons, physical activity, and a steam component that examines the concepts through the lens of the sport.

All equipment is provided.

 

Cartooning Art (K-5th)

Young Rembrandts™ Cartooning curriculum uses a structured stepwise format to teach students to create their own animated characters in humorous settings. We break down objects and ideas into simple shapes, then use exaggeration, caricature, and personification to playfully construct our own cartoon images. Our Cartooning curriculum develops academically relevant skills, including spatial-motor planning, mental discipline and fine motor skills, while providing a fun, enriching experience for our students. New lessons every week!

WEDNESDAYS

Dance: Pop Stars (K-5th)

Get ready to turn the classroom into a stage and dance like your favorite pop stars! In this high energy, age-appropriate class by Tippi Toes, students will learn popular hip hop and jazz techniques including turns, jumps, and kicks. All the popular, age appropriate dance moves that they see their favorite pop stars doing! Teachers will play popular music from recent children's movies and soundtracks to encourage students to sing along while they dance! All students will be invited to participate in our recitals (December and June).

 

There is an additional fee for the recital but participation is optional.

 

Chess (K-5th)

Learn chess with Silver Knights Chess Academy (formerly Magnus Chess Academy), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

 

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. Karate (K-5th)

This beginner course is a modern blend of Tae Kwon Do and Karate. Students will learn the basics of self-defense while practicing punches and kicks on padded targets. We also teach the martial arts philosophies including the tenets of self-control, respect, and humility. At the conclusion of the course, students will be tested for their next karate belt by demonstrating the basic kicks and punches of Sport Karate. Belt testing and belts are included in the cost of the program. This class is taught without karate uniforms.

Spring 'Cool'inary Club: Young Chefs’ Global Adventures (K-5th)

Get ready for a fun-filled, flavor-packed spring with Sticky Fingers Cooking®! Our Springtime Gastronomy Cooking Club will whisk your young chefs on an exciting global culinary adventure, where they’ll cook up fresh, tasty, and healthy recipes each week. Led by our expert Chef Instructors, every class blends S.T.E.A.M., culture, and language into an unforgettable hands-on cooking experience!

With plant-forward, nut-free recipes and accommodations for allergies, our classes are a perfect fit for all ages. Explore a new world of flavors and dishes every week, as your kids whip, stir, and taste their way through springtime. Join the 'Cool'inary Club and make this season a delicious adventure!

Website Design (2nd-5th)

Introduce your child to the fascinating world of website design! Utilizing an intuitive website builder, our young learners will discover the fundamentals of website design, responsive layouts, and multimedia integration. Our instructors will provide a supportive and hands-on learning environment, encouraging students to develop their creativity and digital skills.

 

By the end of the course, each child will have designed their very own website, showcasing their unique interests and talents. Let’s embark on a creative journey that will spark your child’s imagination and foster a lifelong interest in technology and design.

 

Flag Football (K-5th)

In this super active program, players will learn the basics of flag football. Each day will end with full games, but will begin with lead-up games and skill building to help them hone their skills of throwing, catching, dodging, and flag pulling. Players will also learn how to run a huddle and create plays to share with teammates to make the most out of each snap.
